Most Romantic Spots in Dublin

Looking to woo someone special this Valentine’s Day? The choice is endless with things to do on the most romantic day of the year but why not do something a bit different and visit some of the most romantic spots in Dublin. Whether it’s your first Valentine’s Day or you have celebrated many together, you can spend some quality time as you venture on a little tour of Dublin.

First on the list is Poolbeg Lighthouse, the Great South Walk is a lovely walk and at the end, you will be rewarded with the lighthouse. On a clear day, you can take in views of Killiney and Dun Laoghaire, as well as enjoy views of the boats and ships sailing through Dublin Bay. So why not grab a coffee take a stroll down and enjoy the views with your loved one.

If you are looking for an alternative romantic walk why not head to Dollymount strand, which is just a journey by public transport from the city. Enjoy stunning views of Dublin Bay and the Poolbeg Chimneys.

We can’t talk about romantic spots in Dublin without mentioning St Valentine’s Shrine. St Valentine’s Shrine is located in the Whitefriar Street Church and every year couples come to pray to Valentine to ask him to watch over them in their lives together. While it may not be the first place you think of to going on Valentine’s Day, it is definitely something different to do.

Our final destination to visit is Love Lane, which sounds like the most perfect place to visit on Valentine’s Day. In recent years many of Temple Bar’s streets and lanes have been brightened up by street art, Crampton Court has been transformed into Love Lane – an open-air gallery. Go enjoy the art and snap a picture or two for the memory box!
