Q: Where exactly is the Spencer Hotel in Dublin city centre?
A: Our beautiful and spacious four-star property features breath-taking views of the River Liffey and is located in Dublin City Centre in the IFSC within a comfortable 10-minute walk to O’Connell Bridge and O’Connell Street shopping district. We are approximately a two minute walk from Mayor Square/NCI Luas stop (tram), five minute walk from Connolly Train Station and a 16 minute journey from the airport.
Q: How far is it to walk from the hotel to the LUAS stop?
A: Mayor Square LUAS stop (Red Line) is a two minute walk.
Q: Where can I go on the LUAS?
A: You can get a LUAS to Jervis to do a bit of shopping in Dublin or jump off at Abbey Street to wander around O’Connell Street and see the sights of Dublin. The Abbey Street LUAS stop also connects you to the green LUAS line. For more details please visit the LUAS website.

Q: Can you arrange executive transport?
A: We can advise on some executive transport companies within Dublin that may suit your requirements. However, as we do not work with any executive transport companies directly, we cannot arrange such transfers on your behalf.
Q: Does the hotel have a car park and is it included in the rate?
A: To ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, we have self-parking car park facilities available adjacent to the hotel. This car park is charged at the rate of €20 for 24 hours or €3.50 per hour.
Q: Do I need to pre-book parking?
A: Please note that, as our parking spaces are limited, we cannot guarantee availability. Unfortunately, we cannot reserve spaces in this car park. However, if there are no spaces upon your arrival, our team will be more than happy to direct you to another close-by car park. Please look at our car-parking page for full details and directions to the car-park.
Q: Do your rooms have air conditioning?
A: Yes, all of our room types have individually controlled air conditioning.
Q: What does our “no show” policy entail?
A: If you do not show on the day of your booking, you will be charged the full amount for your first night’s stay.
If you have booked our “advanced purchase” or “stay and save” rates, you will incur a 100% penalty charge for the entire duration of your stay.
Q: What time is check out?
A: Check-out is 12:00 noon.
Q: Is it possible to get a late checkout?
A: Late check-out is subject to availability. It may be possible to check-out later than 12:00 noon with a €10 charge per hour until 15:00. It is advisable to discuss the possibility of this with our front office team at the reception desk.
Q: What time is check-in?
A: Check-in is officially from 4pm. Earlier check-in is subject to room availability. For this reason, the only way to guarantee an early check-in is to book the room from the day prior to arrival. If it is not possible to check-in earlier than the times listed above, our guests may leave luggage with our front office team at the reception area.
Q: What is the hotel’s credit card policy?
A: We require a credit card or debit card to make and secure a booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. The debit card or credit card used to secure the booking will be charged on the day of your arrival. We require pre-authorisation of a credit card or deposit in order to charge any extras to a room bill.
Q: What type of room should I book for three adults?
A: If you wish to book for three adults, it would be best to book a Triple Bedroom or one of our exclusive interconnecting family suites.
Q: Do you have family rooms?

Q: Are pets permitted?
A: Only certified guide dogs are permitted in our Hotel.

We have several wheelchair-accessible rooms. Three rooms have a roll-in shower. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
Q: Does the hotel provide international adaptors?
A: There are European sockets in all of our bedrooms. Adapters can be purchased at the hotel reception desk for your convenience.
Q: How old do I have to be to check-in to the Hotel?
A: In order to check-in to our hotel, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 years old, you must be accompanied by somebody aged 18 or older.
Q: When booking online, how can I be sure that I will have a room reservation?
A: If you book a room through our website, you will be issued a confirmation number. This will be sent to the email address you provide in your booking form.
Q: Do you offer hairdryers in your guestrooms?
A: Yes, all of our bedrooms are equipped with one hairdryer for your complimentary use.
Q: Do you provide coffee makers in your guestrooms?
A: Yes, all of our bedrooms are equipped with a kettle as well as a coffee maker for your complimentary use.
Q: Do you provide irons and ironing boards for use during my stay?
A: Yes, all of our bedrooms are equipped with one iron and an ironing board for your complimentary use.
Q: Is the hotel air-conditioned?
A: Yes, our Hotel is equipped with air conditioning.
Q: Can you provide babysitting?
A: No, we cannot provide babysitting services.
Q: Do your rooms include VAT?
A: Yes, our room rates quoted include VAT.
Q: Do you have 24-hour room service?
A: Yes, we can offer 24-hour room service.
Q: Is internet access available?
A: Yes, our guests have complimentary access to our hotel’s Wi-Fi.
Q: What is the cancellation policy?
A: All flexible rates have a cancellation policy of 24 hours (14:00 GMT prior to the arrival date booked).

Q: What time is breakfast served & what type of breakfast do you serve?
We serve a delicious traditional Irish and vegan plated breakfast made to order with a continental cold buffet at the following times:
07:00 – 10:00 Monday to Friday
08:00 – 11:00 on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays.
For guests booked to stay at The Spencer Hotel on room only basis breakfast can be added at the price of €15.00 per person.

Q. What time do you serve lunch & can I see the menu?
A. Our contemporary lunch menu includes a selection of delicious sandwiches & dishes carefully designed by our Head Chef served in a great atmosphere in The Spencer Hotel Lobby Lounge daily between 11.30 am and 3.00 pm.
Q. What time do you serve dinner and can I see the menu?
The Spencer Hotel Lobby Lounge is the perfect place to enjoy a nice & relaxing evening in the heart of Dublin City. Our dinner menu gives a perfect choice of contemporary Irish and European dishes served in a great atmosphere in our spacious lounge. Served daily between 5.00 pm and 9.00 pm
Q: Do you offer room service?
A: We are delighted to offer 24 hours room service to all of our guests. Our extensive in-room dining menu offers a selection of snacks, sandwiches and carefully selected dishes to please everyone. Simply place your order by calling our room service team to enjoy a delicious meal from the comfort of your bedroom.
Q: What leisure facilities are available at The Spencer Hotel?
Q: Does my membership include everything?
A: Unless you buy a pool only membership, your membership will include all aspects of the club.
Q: Is there a minimum length of contract?
A: Direct Debit carries a minimum of 3 months, all other membership types are up front. We have 1, 2, 3, 6 and 12 month options.
Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Yes, you have 2 free buddy passes per month where you can bring someone with you.
Q: Are the classes for all levels?
A: Yes, all of our classes are suitable for everyone. If you have any injuries or issues, just let the instructor know.
Q: Can I get a program with an instructor?
A: Yes, as part of your membership you are entitled to a free 30 minute assessment with an instructor every month.
Q: Are children allowed in the club?
A: Children can use the pool during off-peak times when accompanied by an adult. In regards to the gym, 16 and 17 year olds need to be with an adult. If you are a member, you can bring up to 2 children to the pool free of charge.
Q: What do I need to bring with me to use the club?
A: You will need to bring your own towel to shower and a padlock for the lockers in the changing rooms. You will need a swimming cap for the pool which we sell if you forget to bring. We supply shampoo and shower gel and hairdryers in the changing rooms.
Q: Can I freeze my membership?
A: If you have a medical reason and have a doctor/hospital letter, we will gladly freeze for you.
Q. Where is The Spencer Health Club located?
A. The Spencer Health Club is located in The Spencer Hotel, located on North Wall Quay in the heart of the IFSC. For directions to the Health Club, click here.
Q. What are the opening hours for The Spencer Health Club?
A. The Health Club is open 7 days a week,
Monday – Friday 6.00 am – 9.30 pm
Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays 8.00 am – 7.30 pm
Off-Peak Membership Hours:
Monday to Friday 8.30am – 12.30pm | 2.00pm – 6.00pm
Weekends & Bank Holidays 8.00am – 7.30pm
Children’s Swimming Pool Hours:
Monday – Friday 9.00am – 12.00pm & 2.00pm – 6.00pm
Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays 9.00am – 6.00pm
(The maximum age of a child in the opposite changing room is 8 years old)
Q. Do I need to book a time slot to use the pool?
A. For family and leisure swims guests do not have to book a time. For lane swims guests will need to book a time slot directly with the health club 24 hours before they check in by calling 01 433 8877.
Q. Do I have to wear a swimming hat in the pool?
A. All guests using the swimming pool must wear a swimming hat. Swimming hats can be purchased at the health club reception for €3 each..
Q. How long is the membership contract for?
A. Unlike some other clubs, The Spencer Health Club does NOT ask you to sign a 12-month contract with our minimum commitment being 3 months.
Q. How much notice do I need to give if I wish to cancel?
A. As we do not have a 12-month contract we ask for 1 month’s notice to cancel unless it is due to medical/redundancy reasons in which case immediate cancellation is possible if supported with documentation. The 1 month notice period is clearly highlighted in the terms and conditions of your membership agreement.
Q. Can someone else use my membership key ring?
A. Under no circumstances can someone else use your membership key ring. When you join we will take a digital photo of you which the reception staff can see when you scan in. Anyone found to have given their keyring to someone else to use will have their membership cancelled.
