The New Year’s Festival Dublin takes place on New Year’s Eve on Custom House Quay and George’s Quay. This festival is perfect way to ring in the new year with friends, family or a loved one. Liffey Lights takes place twice during the evening a family matinee show from 6.00pm – 7.00pm and a night time show at 11.30pm. The Liffey Lights are a sight not to be missed with a light spectacle being performed against the backdrop of the Custom House with DJs and percussionists performing on the water. Both shows are free to get into however they are ticketed events and generally sell out well in advance of the shows, so make sure to keep an eye for tickets being released.
Dublin's New Year Countdown Concert kicks off at 8pm on December 31st at Custom House with a musical extravaganza which features live performances by a range of Irish Acts. This year's line up has been announced and includes; Walking on Cards , Ash, Aimee and Lisa McHugh.
