There’s no better place than Dublin to take the family on a break. Spend some quality time with your little ones this summer and enjoy all this fair city has to offer! Rain, hail or (hopefully) sunshine Dublin has a whole host of activities to keep all the family entertained and ensure everyone is happy. Read on to see some of the best family activities in Dublin.

Phoenix Park

Phoenix Park is one of the best places to pack up and take the kids to for the day. Take a stroll through the park and try spot some deer, or better yet President Michael D Higgins, as his residence is in the park! You can also visit Farmleigh House, originally owned be the Guinness family, this wonderful house is now a working government building but you can visit by guided tour and learn all about the history of the house. A trip to Phoenix Park is not complete without a visit to Dublin Zoo. Dublin is home to many exotic creatures and works hard on conservation programmes to help protected species. A trip to the zoo is well worthwhile.

Viking Splash Tour

Looking for a fun way to see the city without tiring your little one’s feet out? Look no further than the Viking Splash tour. A mixture of land and water tour, you will take all of Dublin’s main sites before making a splash into the water where you will enjoy further sights that Dublin has to offer.
