Q: Where exactly is the Spencer Hotel in Dublin city centre?

We are located in the IFSC Business District, overlooking the River Liffey and the Samuel Beckett Bridge. We are approximately 16 minutes away from the airport.

Q: What does our "no show" policy entail?

If you do not show on the day of your booking, you will be charged the full amount for your first night's stay. 

If you have booked our "advanced purchase" or "stay and save" rates, you will incur a 100% penalty charge for the entire duration of your stay. 

Q: How far is it to walk from the hotel to the Luas stop?

2 minutes from our hotel to the Mayor Square Luas stop. (Red Line)

Q: Where can I go on the Luas?

You can get a Luas to Jervis to do a bit of shopping in Dublin or jump off at Abbey Street to wander around O’Connell Street and see the sights of Dublin. Ask our front of house staff for more details.

Q: Can I get the Aircoach from Dublin Airport?

Yes, see our location page for more information. You can book tickets on website www.aircoach.ie or buy them on arrival at the airport.

Q: What time is check out?

Check-out is 12:00 noon.

Q: Is it possible to get a late check out?

Late check-out is subject to availability. It may be possible to check-out later than 12:00 noon with a €10 charge per hour until 15:00. It is advisable to discuss the possibility of this with our Front Office team at the reception desk.

Q: What time does breakfast stop?

Breakfast is served in The Pantry on our ground floor from 06:30 – 10:00 Monday to Friday, and from 07:30 – 11:00 on Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Mondays.

Q: What time is check in?

Check-in is officially from 15:00. Earlier check-in is subject to room availability. For this reason, the only way to guarantee early check-in is to book the room from the day prior to arrival. If it is not possible to check-in earlier than 15:00, our guests may leave luggage with our Front Office team at the reception area.

Q: What is the hotel’s credit card policy?

A: We require a credit card to make and secure a booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. If a booking is secured with a debit card, a cash deposit may be required.

Q: Can I arrange for amenities or gifts to be placed in the room? What do you offer?

A: Yes, we offer a variety of welcome amenities that can be placed in a guest’s bedroom. For example, we can offer petals and/or chocolates free of charge.

Q: What type of room should I book for three adults?

A: If you wish to book for three adults, it would be best to book a Deluxe Triple or Deluxe Quadruple room. Each of these is comprised of one double bed and two single beds. Our Deluxe Triple room is comprised of one double bed and two single beds in the one room; and our Deluxe Quadruple room is comprised of one double bed in one room and two single beds in an interconnecting room.

Q: Do you have family rooms?

A: We can offer a Deluxe Triple or Deluxe Quadruple room. Each of these is comprised of one double bed and two single beds. Our Deluxe Triple room is comprised of one double bed and two single beds in the one room; and our Deluxe Quadruple room is comprised of one double bed in one room and two single beds in an interconnecting room. A rollaway bed can be included into the twin room of our Deluxe Quadruple room; if there will be a party of five sharing the room.

Q: Do you have cribs for children?

A: We can offer to include one baby cot into most of our room types, free of charge.

Q: Are pets permitted?

A: Only certified guide dogs are permitted in our hotel.

Q: Do you have wheelchair accessible rooms?

A: We have nine wheelchair accessible rooms. One of these nine rooms has a roll-in shower. Eight of these rooms are twin rooms and one is a king room.

Q: Does the hotel provide international adaptors?

A: There are European sockets in all of our bedrooms. Adapters for United States plugs are available at a charge.

Q: Is a reservation for dinner required?

A: It may not be required; however we do recommend making a table reservation prior to avoid disappointment.

Q: Does the hotel have a car park and is it included in the rate?

A: We are pleased to confirm parking is available close to our hotel. This car park is charged at the rate of €18 for 24 hours or €3.20 per hour. Please note that this is a shared car park, thus we cannot guarantee space availability. Unfortunately, we cannot reserve spaces in this car park. However, if there are no spaces upon your arrival, our team will be more than happy to direct you to another close-by car park. Q: How old do I have to be to check-in to the Hotel?

A: In order to check-in to our hotel, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18 years old, you must be accompanied by somebody aged 18 or older.

Q: When booking online, how can I be sure that I will have a room reservation?

A: If you book a room through our website, you will be issued with a confirmation number. This will be sent to the email address you provide in your booking form.

Q: Do you offer hairdryers in your guestrooms?

A: Yes, all of our bedrooms are equipped with one hairdryer for your complimentary use.

Q: Do you provide coffee makers in your guestrooms?

A: Yes, all of our bedrooms are equipped with a kettle as well as coffee maker for your complimentary use.

Q: Do you provide irons and ironing boards for use during my stay?

A: Yes, all of our bedrooms are equipped with one iron and an ironing board for your complimentary use.

Q: Can you arrange executive transport?

A: We can advise of some executive transport companies within Dublin that may suit your requirements. However, as we do not work with any executive transport companies directly, we cannot arrange such transfers on your behalf.

A: Yes, our hotel is equipped with air conditioning.

Q: Can you provide babysitting?

A: No, we cannot provide babysitting services.

Q: Do your rooms include VAT?

A: Yes, our room rates quoted include VAT.

A: Our Deluxe Triple rooms are interconnecting room types. Each of these is comprised of one double bed and two single beds.

Q: Can children share my room?

A: We can offer a Deluxe Triple or Deluxe Quadruple room. Each of these is comprised of one double bed and two single beds. Our Deluxe Triple room is comprised of one double bed and two single beds in the one room; and our Deluxe Quadruple room is comprised of one double bed in one room and two single beds in an interconnecting room.

Q: Do you have a gym?

A: Yes, The Spencer Healthclub includes an 18 meter heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and fully equipped gym.

Q: Do you have 24-hour room service?

A: Yes, we can offer 24-hour room service.

Q: Is internet access available?

A: Yes, our guests have complimentary access to our hotel’s Wi-Fi.

Q: Do I need to pre-book parking?

A: We have parking facilities adjacent to our hotel. This car park is charged at the rate of €18 for 24 hours. Please note that this is a shared car park, thus we cannot guarantee space availability. Unfortunately, we cannot reserve spaces in this car park. However, if there are no spaces upon your arrival, our Front Office staff will be more than happy to direct you to another close-by car park.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: Our Flexible Rates have a cancellation policy of notice by 14:00 GMT 24 hours prior to the arrival date booked. Our Advanced Purchase rates are payable at the time of booking and each reservation is non-transferable and non-refundable.
